Here, Mr. Everton Callum, the Human Resources Director for the Global Technology organization at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company (well-known $15+ billion revenue Fortune 500 company), talks about his role and his contributions to the Aprofessionalafrica.com platform. He brings over 20 years of human resources experience, inclusive of providing business partnerships to leaders in highly technical, global organizations, as well as teaching the subject at the collegiate level. He is based at the Goodyear corporate headquarters in Akron, Ohio.  In his role, he provides HR business  partnership to the Chief Technology Officer and the  leadership team of the division, as well as leads a team in the provision of HR solutions for the over 1,000 engineers, scientists and technicians within the division. The key focus of this division is on research and development, new ventures and innovation.
